The latest DBeaver release, version 26.1.3, is now available. Released on July 20, 2026, this maintenance update delivers AI enhancements, usability improvements, and a wide range of fixes across supported database platforms.
On the AI side, a new Preferences option lets users set the maximum wait time for AI Engine responses, the model list now displays correctly for GitHub Copilot free-plan users, and GPT-5 is used as the default OpenAI model. The engine settings interface has also been redesigned for clearer configuration.
This release includes several workflow and interface improvements. In the Data Editor, the Grouping Panel no longer requires an extra click after selecting an item from the Add menu before changes apply.
Metadata handling is improved with a fix for the schema dropdown width when creating a new constraint. Data Transfer is more efficient when importing large CSV files, and CSV export now handles multi-character quotes correctly with stronger quote and delimiter validation. DBeaver also adds global network profiles that can be reused across all projects.
A number of general UI and platform issues have been addressed as well. Connection CLI parameters now properly escape the pipe character. On Linux and macOS, unnecessary zoom restart prompts have been removed when moving or resizing the application window.
Theme switching refreshes colors correctly, and users can now reset font settings to their defaults from the User Interface page in Preferences.
Database support has been strengthened across many platforms. Apache Doris gets an updated database icon, and the Databend driver is upgraded to version 0.4.8. DuckDB now displays LIST and ARRAY values correctly in the Data Grid, and GaussDB adds materialized views to the Navigator tree.
Greenplum resolves an out-of-memory error when loading table lists for schemas with resource groups enabled, MariaDB fixes a UI freeze when deleting multiple table columns at once, and MySQL corrects exceptions affecting backup, restore, and new table creation.
PostgreSQL receives several targeted fixes as well: the MAINTAIN privilege is now shown for users who have it granted, text arrays containing commas are no longer corrupted after editing in the Data Grid, and unsupported constraint type warnings for NOT NULL constraints have been removed. Finally, SQLite fixes an issue where SQL script execution processed only the first line of a script.
Overall, DBeaver 26.1.3 focuses on reliability, smoother configuration, and better cross-database behavior, making it a well-rounded maintenance update for everyday use.
